If you are coming from I-75 Southbound take exit 7. Go to the four way stop at Bonny Oaks. Turn right. The motel is right there on the right.

This has to be one of the smallest motels in which we have ever stayed. There are only about 60 rooms here. The parking is small but we well lighted. We have a small car and did fine. If you have a U-Haul things could get interesting!

When we travel my family and I just look for the basic room. We want it to be clean and comfortable. Since we don’t plan on spending much time in it we want to it be reasonably priced. This property fits the bill nicely.

We have stayed here several times. The staff has always been friendly and polite. Breakfast runs from 6:00 am - 9:30 am. It’s your basic donuts, cereal, toast and bagels. There are two juice choices and coffee. The assortment is small but enough to get you started in the morning.

The motel itself is just inside the city limits. Plan on driving to the attraction you want to see. The mall is one exit away. The City Diner restaurant is just across the road. Downtown and the airport are about 10-20 minutes away.

The Econo Lodge is part of the price conscious motels for the Choice Hotels Brand. They are designed to compete with Red Roof Inn, Sleep Inn, Travelodge etc.

Rooms are your basic no frills. You won’t find a lot of fancy little bottles of shampoo and lotions but you aren’t paying for them either. Beds are comfortable. There is a table, chairs and refrigerator. The rooms are average size. Our family of four went and we did not feel cramped.

The price compares favorably to the other brands. One room with two double beds for a family of four is $54.99. The AAA rate is $49.49. The Sleep Inn at Exit 5 quoted us $76.49 at the AAA rate and is only 2 miles closer to the mall. While price alone makes this Econo Lodge a good value the other amenities do help.

This was at least our third stay at this Econo Lodge. We’ve consistently found the rooms to be very clean. I’ve appreciated that the staff has been willing to answer questions and be as helpful as they can.

The Econo Lodge Chattanooga Airport offers a great value for the money. We look forward to going back the next time we’re in Chattanooga. For the budget conscious, I don’t hesitate to recommend it.
