We can not begin to say enough about both our experience with Gate1 and the trip to Israel.

Gate1 packs so much into this trip it is almost unbelievable. The value is not to be compared with other tour operaters.

First, booking the trip with Gate1 could not be easier. Everything from optional tours to hotel upgrades is laid out before you. Their customer service was great. We had to change a flight and it was as easy as one phone call. All questions were answered. All paperwork was correct and sent to us on time. I never had it so easy with a customer service department.

Second, our tour guide, Raya, was so fantastic. She knew everything about everwhere that we went. History of, personal experiences of, recommendations for. She was so helpful, bent over backwards for everyone on the trip. Even a casual word to her about an issue we had with a hotel room door, which we were not even going to tell the hotel about, and hotel staff showed up at our door. She really made the trip what it was. We miss her already.

Third, the hotels (all but the Daniel Dead Sea) and food were perfect. One hotel, the Scots, has to be the greatest hotel on the face of the planet. Even the tour bus. It was virtually new. Always clean. Our driver did a fantastic job. We never had an issue while on tour. All reservations were made. We were taken where we needed to go at the time we needed to get there.

I can say that our experience with Gate1 was exceptional and that we will be using them again in the future.
