The Hilton Hawaiian Village is such a beautiful place. It has great location. The staff there were very friendly. The rooms varied greatly. But if you had a beach front room like I did, you will surely enjoy it! It is surely a great experience for the whole family.

The village is a beautifully designed place. It has a lot of shops. But the best part of all is that is directly on Waikiki Beach. It is a fairly crowded beach during the day. But it is amazingly beautiful as well.

But the worst part is, is that it is way too costly. I was with a group of about 11 people and I went way over budget. The room service is outrageously expensive. I also wish that there were kitchens in these hotel rooms. It would end up saving you tons of money.

Another thing is…my family was with me and we all used iPods to get us through the plane ride there. Well, when we got to the hotel, we were looking for a place to charge our iPods but there were NO computers in the lobby! We went to the concierge desk and asked them to charge it for us on their computers, but they said they weren’t “capable” of doing so. Our whole group also tired to go to a different part of the hotel (where they had a computer room) but when we got there, they were charging us $10 for 30 minutes on a computer. It takes at least an hour or so to charge an iPod, and we had 5 iPods total for our group. So once again it comes down to cost. $100 to charge five iPods? I think not.
